GUANGZHOU, China – December 10, 2024 – Peter Helis, Chief Advisor of Guangzhou Huangpu District, delivered the keynote presentation at the 2024 Sino-French GBA Business Summit on December 5 at The Ritz-Carlton Guangzhou. Helis joined business leaders, officials, and executives to foster Sino-French cooperation in the Greater Bay Area, coinciding with the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between France and China.The summit, organized by the French Chamber of Commerce in China in partnership with the Consulate General of France in Guangzhou, gathered over 400 participants to explore innovation, investment, and bilateral opportunities. It highlighted the Greater Bay Area's role as a hub for French companies, resulting in deals worth USD 3.22 billion."It was an absolute honour and pleasure to deliver the keynote presentation at this year's France GBA Summit in Guangzhou. Thanks so much for the kind invitation by the French Chamber of Commerce in China as well as the Consulate General of France in Guangzhou. At the same time, I'd like to congratulate France and China on their 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations," said Peter Helis. "As Chief Advisor of Guangzhou Huangpu, I focused on strategies to enhance high-tech collaboration and sustainable growth in the region."In his address, Helis emphasized Huangpu's contributions to the Greater Bay Area, including its innovation parks and international partnerships that attract global investment.
